In December 14-16, 2007 The JKS Open Ukraine Cup 2007 was held in Donetsk (Ukraine).

In April 30, 2007 The International JKS Tournament was held in Gify (Japan). Our congratulations to winners and prize-winners Viktoria Afendikova (the 2nd place in individual kumite, the 2nd place in individual kata), Anton Gidrat (1st place in individual kumite), Yuriy Martynov (1st place in individual kata).

In April 25-29, 2007 the representatives of Ukrainian team were invited by President of Ukrainian Karate Association Takenori Tanaka to visit international educational-training camp Kobusino-sato, which was situated in the mountains of Gifu's prefecture. They visited the historical sights and got to know some peculiarities of the most ancient Japanese culture.

In April 20-22, 2007 The JKS World Championships 2007 was held in Naha (Okinawa, Japan), where the representatives of Ukrainian team achieve success. Ukrainian sportsmen won 1 gold medal and 7 silver medals. Anna Medvedeva (2nd place in individual kata, 2nd place in team kata, 2nd place in team kumite), Viktoria Afendikova (2nd place in team kata, 2nd place in team kumite), Anna Gnatushko (2nd place in team kumite), Andrei Medvedev (2nd place in team kata), Yuriy Martynov (1st place in individual kata among young men) became the winners and prize-winners. Vladimir Karavan (4th place in individual kata, 40 years and older) and Anton Gidrat (6th place in individual kata, 7th place in individual kumite among junior) got into final part of the championships.

In March 24-25, 2007 The JKS Ukrainian Karate Championship 2007 was held in Nikolaev (Ukraine). Look for the official information on the site. The information from the protocol you may take in an Administration of Ukrainian Karate Association or in the Official Regional Offices in your region.

The Annual Report 2006 of Ukrainian Karate Association was published. There is PDF-version on the site - (1,3 Mb, pdf).

In December 8-10, 2006 the representatives of Administration of Ukrainian Karate Association took part in conference of European JKS representatives in Venice (Italy) under the guidance of the head of international department of JKS Takeshi Yamaguchi. Some suggestions were brought in development of organization in Europe and the nearest European Championships were planed (2008 in Poland, 2010 in Great Britain).

In November 13-14, The International JKS Training Seminar was in Donetsk (Ukraine) under the guidance of Takeo Matsui, Takenori Tanaka and Takeshi Yamaguchi.

In November 11-12, 2006 The JKS European Championships 2006 among children, youth and adults was held in the Sport Palace "Friendship" in Donetsk (Ukraine). Look for DPF-version of official championships magazine on the site - (6,6 Mb, pdf).
